Another Leap

The totes and coloring books for the kits arrived last Friday. My youngest son, a.k.a Thing2,  has named himself senior volunteer and got right to work assembling the kits.

We got 38 done in an hour, and I delivered 10 to my friend, Jon Katz, to take to kids at Refugee and Immigrant Support Services of Emmaus in Albany.

We’re still waiting on supplies for younger artists for kits that will go to children under the supervision of Vermont’s Department of Children and Families, but our little team has found a good system for the way forward.  And, as Thing2 observed, a good time was had by all.
